The Kick-off meeting was held on the 4th and 5th of October in 2019 at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf in Hamburg (Germany) and was organised by Kristin Bührig and Mike Mösko.
Hamburg was chosen due to the initial two-year funding of the Hamburg State government for Science, Research and Equality which allowed us to cover travel expenses for the participants.
In order to get to know each other each of the participants presented their professional background and areas of interest. We discussed common topics, defined goals for the upcoming funding period and overall enjoyed enriching conversations.
